🚓📚 Trafford Neighbourhood Team Visits Local Schools 📚🚓

Today, PC Spinks and PC Green from the Trafford Neighbourhood Team had the pleasure of visiting local schools to introduce ourselves and talk to pupils about the role of a police officer and how we help keep our communities safe.

We spoke with the children about local issues affecting the Trafford borough, including anti-social behaviour, and discussed the impact it can have on residents, businesses, and the wider community. We also explained some of the work that Greater Manchester Police is doing to tackle these issues and make our neighbourhoods safer for everyone.

The children asked some fantastic questions and showed a real interest in policing. To make the visit even more memorable, they had the opportunity to try on police hats, take a closer look at some police equipment, try on handcuffs, and even see the blue lights in action!

Thank you to all the staff and pupils for making us feel so welcome. We always enjoy engaging with young people and helping them learn more about the vital role policing plays within their community. 👮‍♂️💙
