Have you seen a QR code at a parking machine? Scam QR codes are on the rise; here are 3 ways to protect yourself from scams at parking machines.

1️⃣Feel for a sticker. Run your finger over the QR code. Fake stickers often have a raised edge over the original surface.

2️⃣Check the URL. Look closely at the web address before entering data to ensure it matches the official domain.

3️⃣Download an app. Instead of scanning codes on meters, download official parking apps to your mobile phone.
