Knife Sweep - Operation Sceptre

This afternoon, PCSOs from the St James and Waterhead Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted a knife / weapon sweep in areas of Stoneleigh Park and Pearly Bank Park as part of Operation Sceptre, which is a national policing campaign aimed at reducing knife crime and serious violence. 

Searches were carried out in areas of the parks where known anti social behaviour occurs and any potential concealment spots.
