Operation Sceptre Activity – Fitton Hill

On [19/05/2026 }, as part of Operation Sceptre, I was deployed within the Fitton Hill community to support proactive knife sweeps. The purpose of this operation was to identify and remove any concealed or discarded bladed articles that could pose a risk to public safety.

During the deployment, systematic searches were carried out in areas known for anti-social behaviour and potential concealment spots. Any dangerous bladed items located were safely recovered and removed from the environment.

My role contributed to reducing the risk of knife-related harm and helped reinforce community reassurance. Engagement with members of the public also took place where appropriate, highlighting the ongoing commitment to tackling knife crime and keeping the community safe.
