Livestock Protection Laws are changing.

New law strengthening protections for sheep, cows and other farm animals 

Farm animals in England and Wales will receive stronger protection from dogs under the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) (Amendment) Act.

4 in 5 farmers have had their sheep flock attacked by dogs. The new law includes,

⚖️ Increasing penalties from £1,000 to unlimited fines

🚔 Increased police powers

🐑 Providing clearer, tougher action to protect livestock and rural communities
