Local Alert

On Monday 2nd March 2026 at around 20:55 hours, a resident on Crescent Avenue, off Newbrook Road, reported an unknown female trying their door handle before stating she believed her friend lived at the address. She then left the area while speaking on the phone. Officers attended and confirmed there was no attempt to force entry and nothing was taken. The incident is believed to be a genuine mistake, but it was rightly reported as the female was not recognised.

Neighbourhood officers will continue to keep the area in mind for local patrols. Please could I ask that local residents remain vigilant and continue to report any suspicious activity moving forward.
