Greater Manchester Police would like to update residents in the Shaw area regarding activity carried out in the early hours of this morning. Following a report made a few days ago about a suspicious male seen in the vicinity of Beal Vale Primary School, officers conducted a proactive patrol around the school and surrounding streets. This was done to provide reassurance to the community, gather any further information, and ensure the safety of pupils, staff, and local residents.
At this time, no further incidents have been identified, and we will continue to maintain a visible presence in the area over the coming days.
We encourage anyone who witnesses any suspicious behaviour, or who has information that may assist our enquiries, to contact GMP via 101, or use the LiveChat function on our website. In an emergency, always dial 999.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep Oldham safe.
