Happy New Year |

Dear all,
As we welcome the New Year, everyone at Bolton South Neighbourhood Team would like to wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy, and peaceful year ahead.
The start of a new year is a time for reflection, hope, and fresh beginnings. It is also an opportunity for us to say thank you. Over the past year, we have seen countless examples of community spirit across Bolton—neighbours looking out for one another, local groups stepping up to support those in need, and residents working alongside us to keep our town safe. Your cooperation, trust, and engagement make a real difference, and we are truly grateful for your continued support.
Policing is at its strongest when it is built on partnership. Throughout the coming year, our officers remain committed to listening to your concerns, tackling crime and antisocial behaviour, and being visible and accessible in the communities we serve. We will continue to focus on protecting the most vulnerable, supporting victims, and ensuring that Bolton town centre remains a place where people feel safe to live, work, and visit.
As you move into the New Year, we encourage everyone to look out for one another, particularly during the winter months. Simple acts of kindness—checking in on a neighbour, reporting concerns early and engaging positively within your community—help make Bolton a safer and more connected place for all.
If you need us, please remember that we are here to help. Emergencies should always be reported via 999, and non-emergency concerns can be shared through the usual channels. Your information and involvement play a vital role in helping us prevent harm and respond effectively.
On behalf of all officers at Bolton South Neighbourhood Team, thank you once again for your support. We wish you a New Year filled with safety, wellbeing, positive moments and we look forward to continuing to work with you in the months ahead.
