Increase in vehicle crime in the area

Good Morning.

Over the past week I have noticed that there has been an increase of vehicle crime happening in the Great Lever area. This has varied between Theft from Motor Vehicles, Theft of Motor Vehicles and Theft of Number Plates. 

Can I advise everyone to make sure when exiting your vehicle that you don't leave anything valuable on show for would-be criminals. A lot of vehicle break-in's happen when criminals spot items like money and mobile phones are kept in the cup holders in the cars. Also make sure your vehicle is fully locked when you leave your vehicle.

In regards to number plates if anyone would like a plate protection kit where you can make it harder for criminals to remove your number plate then feel free to drop me a message and address where I can drop the kit off for you. Supplies are limited but I will try and source one for you at the earliest opportunity.
