Traffic OP - Great Lever

The Great Lever and Farnworth West Neighbourhood team were out this morning conducting traffic checks in the area to make sure everyone was safe and legal, and to deal with those not abiding by the law.

27 vehicles were stopped and 22 Traffic offence reports were issued. The vast majority of offences were for drivers and passengers not wearing seatbelts. We also issued fines for using a mobile phone whilst driving and speeding.

Please remember to always wear a seat belt and remember, children must be in a suitable car/booster seat until they are 12 years old or 135cm tall.
