🚨 Community Alert – Chinatown Patrol Update 🐝

Today, PC 09078 Tang, your dedicated Neighbourhood Officer for Chinatown, was out on her regular patrol in the area, continuing her engagement with the local community.

👮‍♀️ PC Tang had the pleasure of speaking with several community members and business owners, including staff at Wing Fat Supermarket (opposite the Chinatown car park), who shared positive feedback about the recent improvements in the area. Business owners noted a significant drop in antisocial behaviour (ASB), especially during peak hours.

While this feedback is encouraging, officers will not be complacent. High-visibility patrols will continue, especially during early morning hours, to help ensure Chinatown remains safe, welcoming, and peaceful for everyone.

🌍 In a wonderful moment of cultural exchange, tourists from Shanghai visiting Manchester were introduced to Bee in the Loop—Greater Manchester Police’s direct messaging service that helps keep residents informed about local policing updates, crime prevention advice, and safety alerts.

📱 Although they were only in Manchester for a short stay, the tourists were fascinated by the initiative and even signed up to follow interesting police updates from across the city! It’s a testament to how powerful good community engagement can be—even across continents.
