Safer Streets Initiative & FazAmnesty Knife surrender van

Good evening Resident,

The Leigh Neighbourhood team have been out this evening in plain clothes as part of the safer street’s initiative, we will continue the to dedicate officers to the town centre to keep the streets safer. During this week Officers have disrupted & arrested a male for drug dealing as well as arresting a male who was wanted by the Scottish courts.

The #FazAmnesty knife surrender van has also been on Bradshawgate, Leigh as part of the national ninja sword surrender scheme. Thank you too those who have surrendered their Ornamental swords and knives as part of the scheme to keep our streets safer.
