Good Morning Residents of Hall Road,

Unfortunately we have had a report of a burglary at a property on Hall Road.
The burglary looks to have taken place between 10:00pm on the 23rd June and 06:45am on the 24th June.
Offenders have entered via an insecure rear door and taken keys for a Grey 74 plate Nissan Juke from an upstairs table, and then stolen the vehicle.
There is no description of the offender/offenders.
If anyone on Hall Road/Pollitt Road/Carlton Road/Smallshaw Lane has CCTV , then please check your system, for the Nissan Juke leaving one of the junctions off Hall Road.

In light of the this burglary happening, please be extra vigilant.
Nissan Jukes are currently a targeted vehicle due to vulnerability that has been identified by offenders which allows them to steal the vehicle without keys, although there is nothing at the moment to say this burglary was targeted specifically for the vehicle.

Local officers will be in the area as part of OP Castle conducting reassurance visits to the victim and enquiries.
