Tomorrow, officers from our Neighbourhood Strategic Team will be attending the monthly Business Crime Reduction Partnership meeting at the Arndale. 

The meeting is attended by many of the retailers across the city centre and is an opportunity for retail management and employees to speak with their local policing team. At the meeting, we will be discussing our Top 10 Retail Offenders for June 2025 and passing vital intelligence to stakeholders so they can keep their staff safe. CityCo, who facilitate the meeting and run the partnership, will then provide partners and our officers with their own intelligence, gathered from reports sent through to them by the retail community.

This multi-agency approach allows us, alongside those working in our community, to target those causing the most harm.
Whether it be anti-social behaviour, prolific shop theft or violence against retail workers, those causing trouble are discussed at these partnership meetings so everyone knows who's doing what and what the Police need to bring them to justice.

Working together we are able to accomplish much more than we ever would in isolation. Thank you to our partners and our community for their continued assistance in making our city a safer place to be.
