Anti-Social Behaviour

YOU SAID, WE DID … Recently at a local PACT meeting, issues were raised around the Anti-Social use of Off Road Bikes, we have noticed that Irlam and Cadishead have been subjected to an increased level of Anti-Social Behaviour in relation to these Bikes.

Off Road Bikes have been being used in an Anti Social Manner with riders having no respect for the other members of the community, pulling wheelies along Main roads, cutting through housing estates, tearing up the local grasslands and putting other road users in Danger.

Your Local Neighbourhood Policing team have been targeting the issue with Bikes being seized and a number of Section 59 Warnings being issued to riders.

However, we know this is on-going and is effecting our community but we still need your help to continue targeting the issue, these riders are taking the bikes to home addresses and alternative storage spaces and will be seen by neighbours and other members of the community. If you notice where bikes are being taken to or where they are coming from, please message us with details and we will do our best to target individuals causing a nuisance.  Information can also been passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Emails can be sent to 65109@gmp.police.uk or 18996@gmp.police.uk Alternatively, you can speak to your local officers at their upcoming PACT meetings.
