Today officers from your North Neighbourhood team worked with children from Seymour Park Primary school. On an initiative called Mini Police. This is where we educate young children in what the Police do and to teach them core values which they will take with them in older life. 

Today we showed them how we conduct a speeding operation. We did this on Seymour Grove where the children experienced what work goes into making these operations a success. Although we were only present for 30 minutes in this area. We stopped 5 vehicles and gave the appropriate advice. The children had fun and we think learned some valuable lessons from the experience. We will continue to work with this cohort and educate through other aspects of policing as we move through the year.
