Busy day in the town centre

Stockport town centre officers have had another busy day. This afternoon officers located a male who was wanted for a theft of an handbag, he is currently being dealt with in Cheadle Heath custody. 

A drunken male was causing issues for commuters in Stockport Bus Interchange, officers quickly arrived and he has been dealt with.

Officers will continue to make regular hi-vis patrols in and around the area of the bus station and are also monitoring the night-time economy.

Officers are currently looking for an high risk person. 

Greater Manchester Police are working hard to make Stockport Town Centre a safe place to visit.
