Dear residents, No hate crime is acceptable. We all have a right to live without fear, hostility and intimidation from others.
Hate crime comes in many different forms and strikes at the heart of communities. With your help, we can tackle those responsible for hate crime and keep our communities safe. Hate crime can have devastating consequences for victims, their families, witnesses and the wider community. Yet public awareness and perception of hate crime remains low, and incidents are significantly under-reported. We're here and ready to help anyone who has been affected by someone else's prejudice, ignorance or violence. Is it an emergency?
