Good news today - our colleagues at Cheshire Police have arrested an adult male who was wanted in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred early this year in October. 

The suspect entered Hobbycraft on the Peel Centre and filled a bag with goods, before leaving making no attempt to pay. The goods were recovered off the male by the Anchor security team. Unfortunately the male was able to escape at the time.

Just because the items were recovered - it doesn't mean the act of theft is not committed!

Paul Differ (49) of Brinnington has been charged with theft remanded to appear at Chester Magistrate's Court today.

Clearly, he wasn't crafty enough to get away with it.

We will investigate all reports of theft made to GMP and take appropriate action against all suspects.
