Opportunistic thieves riding electric bikes had targeted commuters holding their mobile phones on Chapel Street, New Bailey Street, Blackfriars Road and Adelphi Street.

People with headphones and listening to music with their Mobile phones out and watching videos are at a high risks of Mobile phones getting snatched, please listen to music and keep your mobile phones in your pocket.

Please use your Mobile phones when needed to answer a call and stay observant of your surroundings, put your mobile phones away if you are in doubt. 

If using Google Maps to find your destination, please keep your phone close by to your mid section of your chest and not stretched outwards 1 feet away as this would pose a significant risk of your phone being snatched from you.

Hotels, Concierge etc, Please keep your work Mobile phones out of sight and out of reach to prevent opportunistic thieves from grabbing your Mobile Phones and making off.
