I just wanted to share some really good news with you. Your Neighbourhood Team have been patrolling the Moss Side and Hulme areas over the last few days with a real push on targeting drug misuse. Drugs cause such a misery in the Community. I am pleased to tell you that 7 arrests were made as part of this crackdown. They were all good arrests which led to 5 people being remanded but the best arrests related to a simple vehicle stop on Tuesday evening at about 6PM in the Hulme area. Only one person, a 26 year old male was in the vehicle but lots of dugs were found in a bag and a large amount of cash. A second person, a 21 year old male decided to get involved and his efforts were rewarded with being arrested for Pervert the Course of justice. Anyway fast forward 24 hours and both males have been charged between them with 6 offences and remanded to for court today.
