On Sunday 10th of November 2024 Local neighbourhood officers conducted a traffic operation in Whalley Range and Chorlton Areas.

Officers stopped a number of vehicles and issued 7 fines for speeding near parks on Alexandra Road South, Withington Road and Mauldeth Road with highest speed recorded of 48 mph in a 20 zone.

This was completed after numerous residents reported speeding in the local area.
