We are appealing for information following a report of concern for the welfare of a young person in Salford.

A boy, thought to be a young teenager, was seen getting into a car near Chimney Pot Park on Langworthy Road, Salford, at 8:30pm and has not been seen since.

He was seen on CCTV on Athol Road at 8:21pm wearing a Puma t-shirt with dark coloured joggers and dark sliders.

Whilst we have not received a report of a missing person matching this description, we need to ensure that the young male is safe and well.

We don’t believe there is a risk to the wider public.
