I've been made aware of loud bangs in and around the area of Ashton Road/Lodge Lane generally around 8pm-8am.

   I’ve contacted Louvolite to ensure if isn’t any of the industrial equipment – I’ve spoken to the manager who states nothing will work over night consistent with these noises being described but enquires have been made with night workers. I’ve emailed northern rail to ask if they are carrying out any rail work again consistent with any loud noises.

I will update you with any information, please reply back if you have any theories/further locations or sound recordings.
