We have had reports of some residents been in possession of banned breeds of dogs, particularly the recently banned XL Bully. 

There are now a number of points that owners of this breed must adhere to before being granted an exception. These include walking the dog with a lead and muzzle on at all times as well as other requirements involving insurance, registry and microchipping. 

If you know of anyone who may be in possession of a banned breed and may not be adhering to legal requirements, please contact myself directly so that we can look to intervene and prevent any potential future incidents.
