Crime Prevention Message

We’ve seen a recent spike in burglaries and attempted break-ins in the Fitton Hill area of Oldham. Our Neighbourhood Crime Team, supported by local officers, are actively investigating these reports.

If you have CCTV footage, witnessed an offence, or noticed suspicious activity, please report it via 101 or the GMP online reporting system. Every piece of information helps us build evidence and keep our community safe.

Protect your home:
✅ Ensure security lighting is working and well-positioned.
✅ Make sure CCTV covers entry points and vehicles.
✅ Fit anti-snap locks to doors.
✅ Use timer switches or leave a light on when you’re out.
✅ Double-check all doors and windows (including upstairs) before leaving or going to bed.
