Burglary Alert

Dear Residents,

Please be aware of an increase in burglary offences at dwelling properties within this specific foot beat.

Entry has been gained by using several different methods such as blow torch, insecure properties and snapping of locks. Please remain vigilante and to report any suspicious activity to the police or alternatively please see the attached links for crime prevention advice of how to try and keep your home safe from burglars.

Items of jewellery and cash are just some of the items that have been targeted along with motor vehicles / keys.

Unfortunately, there is no current description of the offenders and police are still conducting enquires to identify any possible offenders.

I would ask residents to remain vigilante and to look out for each other.

If residents in the area could also check their CCTV systems and if you have any Any information regarding the burglary or this suspicious activity, then please get in touch via Live Chat over at www.gmp.police.uk or via 101.
